The sad sad world of copyright theft

Oh dear, this evening I found someone lifting my web copy. I’m flattered (well I’m not particularly flattered actually be honest), but have demanded the remove it within 24 hours.

I’ve been told I’m being very generous to not name and shame them and there is quite a lynch mob gathering amongst my business friends, and the word ‘legal action’ is being being bandied about.

Bump Magic Boutique Babylon

No, I’m not some sad 34 year old woman into gangster rap……don’t you just love funky business names though? I know I do.

I remember in the ‘olden days’ we only really used to have names like Turner & Son, and Shelley’s Nails and what not for business owners, but now that has completely changed and (in my opinion, and it’s my blog so I shall force said opinion upon you ;) ) it’s almost entirely down to the spectacular rise of the Internet. School of Design

Over the years, and it’s been over five now (I completely failed to capitalise on the marketing opportunity that is a 5th year anniversary, shame on me!), I’ve had contact from aspiring graphic designers.

What I mean by aspiring, is people who want to have a career in graphic design but aren’t yet achieving that, or not sufficiently to live off the money from it anyway.

Riding fast on the back of oh-so-popular turquoise electric blue has made a welcome return to the high street fashion stores (very welcome in my eyes) and is set to be the hottest shade this season.

The last time I remember so many electric blue garments available to purchase was in 1996. Why do I remember this so well?
