Winning That Placement For Design Students
I’ve had about five applications through the door, not to mention the emailed applications. Applications for jobs sometimes (sorry I don’t have a job for you!) but also applications for work experience placement from students. Those coming though the post are mainly for work placement.
Now work experience placement I’m actually interested in and I’ve twice now had students in. It could be useful for me to have some fresh eyes in the office looking at projects this summer, but when I’m getting several offers I want to pick the person with the best attitude and if I’m shooting from the hip with total honesty, I also want to pick the best designer.

First of all the music on this website is cool, but wait until you start playing with the interactive stuff. GENIUS!
Honestly, just keep clicking to go to the next scene, make sure you drag fully in both directions with your mouse when you are in a scene and have fun, it’s awesome! This has got to be the most innovative website I’ve ever seen.
Mardi Gras T-shirts
In October I blogged in excitement about some t-shirt designs I created for highly successful Dallas fashion brand Katydid Collection, and even got in a right tizz about the thought of Jennifer Aniston wearing one (well, they did mail her one, the very least she could do is show some semblence of blinkin’ gratitude and wear it … oh yes and then get photographed in it also.)
