I was excited to receive new product samples in the post from identity design client Essentials for Men this week. They’ve stamped their identity (and our label designs) onto their latest addition to the Essentials For Men product range, all due to be sold in their online shop once launched.
Essentials for Men has been an end to end identity design and branding project for us; starting with company logo design and including stationery design, product labelling, and front end web design. Now a registered Trademark Essentials for Men will be offering luxury men’s skincare, bodycare, gift sets and accessories. Read the rest of this entry »
So Shall Bea came to us in November looking for a new company identity for their already flourishing business startup; a business offering email marketing services, and follow up social media support for content sharing.
The design brief included the need to be create a strong image representing an ‘enthusiastic’ brand, and that this image ideally be ‘quirky’ in some way.
I’ll go through the logo design concepts presented to the client, one by one. Read the rest of this entry »
Following a recent book cover design project, Wealth For Women were kind enough to post me the book itself once printed.
The book, which is a woman’s guide to achieving financial security, needed a cover design that conveyed the sense of a confident financially independent woman. I decided that a classy illustration was a good way to go and the below book design was born. Read the rest of this entry »
I thought I’d share a recent logo design project with you, the design concepts presented and the revisions leading up to the final design.

Dental marketing client, Active Dental came up with a fabulous idea the other day – a novel way of advertising cosmetic dentistry using the time honoured method of ‘sex sells’.
I’ve been working on the Essentials4Men website and stationery designs recently following the completion of their brand identity two years ago. I’ve really enjoyed this project end to end, because I feel that it’s a new business that has the potential to do exceptionally well after launch.
This week Essentials4Men posted some soap samples to me so that I could create real life packaging design mock ups for their range of organic soaps for men – ensuring that the design and packaging shape and size works well on the actual product itself. Read the rest of this entry »
What ELSE have we been doing while not blogging? Not sitting in beer gardens doing nothing, no sir-e I promise
We’ve also created some new banner designs for Hunkydory Home. We re-designed the Hunkydory Home website in summer 2012 and it went live in October that year. Since then we have supplied them with regular updates to their homepage banner … keeping it fresh and seasonal like any shop window display should be.
Here are some of the designs we’ve created for Hunkydory over the last year … Read the rest of this entry »
First of all, let me just say that I cannot believe I haven’t blogged for two months, where did all that time go! :O
Especially after promising myself I was going to start blogging more every month. That enthusiastic blast of 12 blogs in June must have wiped me out … or maybe there have been too many beer gardens since June? Either way – Shame On Me.
One of the projects I’ve been working on while neglecting the blog is a front end web design for Essentials4Men skincare brand. Essentials4Men came to me in 2010, needing a brand identity for their grooming, fashion and accessories start up. Read the rest of this entry »
Over the last year or so, long standing client Active Dental have commissioned professional surgery photos for all of their marketing materials (always designed by myself), and it’s been great to work with ‘stock quality’ photos but set in the real dental surgery, most of which include actual staff members rather than models.
