Commercial Illustrator

I was sitting in our local Pizza Express on the 23rd December with my family after doing some last minute Christmas shopping and observed that the children’s activity books were more fetching than your standard activity sheet/book offered by most restaurants.

I was pleased to observe that the illustrator has their name clearly marked on them ‘illustrations by’ and so I was able to visit their website and take a looksy at their other lovely work.

Their Other Lovely Work

Well I’m a complete sucker for anything with birds of recent years so I love this box and ribbons design. It simply beautiful.
This is the sort of packaging where the product inside almost doesn’t matter - if it’s anywhere near half decent you are just going to buy it for the packaging alone - one of the finest examples of how much packaging (ie design) influences a sale.

Some excellent re-branding work for Fine Burger Company.

Very very nice work for fashion store Leam, Italy.

The Meet Maria one?
I think that more than anything, I really like scalloped edges on those designs! I also like the colours, I have a thing for colours.
Hmmm maybe I should incorporate some scalloped edges into one of my designs at some point, it looks really good.
This is how we get better isn’t it? Copying… cough..ahem.. I mean ‘inspiring’ each other
I’m riffling through your website now, which isn’t good because I’ve got lots to do today, but I cant’ resist, there’s a lot to see, I’m laughing at the cat bio at the moment.
