Great Logo Concepts
I was just doing some research for a client for their fishery directory business logo design and came across this fab logo… don’t you think it’s really clever?
I don’t often comment on logos I come across, I really think this a great design though.
Not ‘totally’ loving their website, but their landing page is fairly well designed and at least good use has been made of the logo there. Disliking the splash of red writing at the top however, they should think of another way of calling attention to these words because it’s really clashing against everything else on the page and making it all feel less professional.

He He Also their dropdown menu’s go fruity in Firefox as well as the layout on some pages, do agree though, nice logo
Yeah, I noticed that myself actually because I use Firefox.
I like the concept, but I HATE the typography – in my opinion it lets the logo down. But your right the concept is great! Good find!
Oh yes, I didn’t really think about it because I was so impressed by the graphical icon it was all I could see – I agree the typography could be a lot nicer!
I could be biased though with regards to this because I’ve noticed I have quite a dislike of the mixing of upper and lower case characters for identity design. It always feels scruffy and dated to me.
I like the graphic work but there is something missing for the typo.. Probably wanted to see some more versions using diff fonts I believe
