Man, Van, Thank you Ma’am

I was driving back from the seaside one summer Monday some weeks ago, and spotted the above van.
It’s typical for me to eyeball company branding as I drive past vehicles (I don’t drive, I’m always the passenger), which amuses me on long motorway journeys and when I saw this van I was immediately impressed and started snapping away with my phone camera.
If you look at these photos you will see the company name is Gentleman & A Van, and it’s immediately clear from the stylish colour and presentation of the van and it’s livery, along with the logo icon, what Gentleman & A Van are all about.
This is one of the most innovative brands I’ve seen in a long time.
Capitalising on the well known business concept of ‘man and a van’, so immediately one can understand what service is on offer, whilst at the same time making it 100% clear that you are a cut above the average man and a van operation! It’s utterly genius.

Website
To top it all off, when I returned home and hastily accessed my computer to view their website, it was glorious….just as knew it would be.
Enjoy!
Now find out what a difference a name can make to your brand. GO>

Just goes to show what a different perspective can make to upgrade a standard brand.
Well spotted, definitely cool and very stylish.
Bookmarked it for future reference.
Shear brilliance – I too spotted this company and have now used them on several occasions. I cannot recommend them highly enough as their service is as impressive as their branding.
That’s good to hear that they are ‘living and breathing’ their brand – because obviously their brand style indicates that they are a high quality service, but brand styling doesn’t really do much for your business unless that’s the reality of the service behind the image created.
I’d love to know who created the brand image actually, I’d be interested to see their other work, because this one is very clever.
Wow – and the website is amazing! Really nice branding, it makes such a difference when you see it out on the road, and when you think of how many people will see your brand in an average trip.
This reminds me of the cow van!

Oh yes Innocent drinks, they have really really good branding – one of the best retail examples actually I think and I’ve been quite tempted to blog about them.
They had a van once covered in grass or something. Here I found it;

That is so cool! Innocent have such nice branding, I really like the different coloured logo for different products idea too, looks great.

I have to get whoever did that animation to do one for my site, though somehow doubt they would be in my budget range
it’s quality!
