This is a recently completed brand identity project for start up business Beaumonts Virtual Assistant.
A virtual assistant (the abbreviatian being ‘VA’) is someone (or a business/team of people) who provide professional administrative assistance to clients remotely from their own office rather than working on the clients premises. Typical services provided by virtual assistants often include typing, call minding, research, and virtual office services (receive post for instance).
Beaumonts are keen to present a highly professional image, hence their investment in proper identity creation. It’s actually quite rare in this particular industry for Virtual Assistant business owners to take their branding so seriously (just do a Google search for Virtual Assistant and you will see what I mean!). By doing so Beaumonts will have a natural advantage over their competitors from the get go.
The logo icon has multi-faceted meaning:
1. It’s a bee; Beaumonts being ‘busy bee’ workers on behalf of their clients.
2. It’s a computer mouse, representing the ‘virtual’ aspect of their services.
3. The end of the mouse is the letter ‘B’ and thus the icon is company initials also.
