Bristol based Escape Health & Beauty salon sent us these photos of their new reception area, which is just beautiful. A month or so ago they asked us to design a wall canvas for them to be used at the reception in replacement of an old wall canvas design we had created for them in 2007.

Escape Salon has been a client for 5 years and our work for them has included logo design, print marketing materials (including their salon brochure) and website design. Apparently the new wall canvas design has been attracting plenty of compliments from customers and so that is great

And here you can see a small sample of our previous works for Escape. You may notice that the logo design is different – with the new wall canvas design Escape decided to have it created with a simplified version of their existing logo design, and to have the colour changed to match the wallpaper that was going to sit behind the canvas.

I suspect this change to the logo design for the canvas may well herald a bit of a refresh of their brand identity (which is 5 years old now), and in anticipation of this I’ve made some suggestions to Escape Salon already about what can be done to intergrate a simplified version of their logo like this into their existing marketing collateral and effect changes to their brand identity slowly over time.
