I've heard that before actually, that the most useful marketing literature you can have is a business card.

I find that cards are kept by many more people than leaflets which quite often get thrown away

If you don't want to print leaflets a folded business card could get all you want to say accross without the additional outlay.

Thanks Danny, got to say though, that with the card 350gsm card weight and the fold, they really are quite clunky. Look very nice though compared to bog standard flag cards and of course the benefit of space for info and clean design.

I'm thinking that if anyone ever does folded business cards that it might be better if the card weight is something like 250gsm maximum to get rid of some of the bulk for the fold. Which would mean asking the print firm for a custom job most likely.

I'd love to be involved in some more unusual card designs one day, you know like on metal, plastic, die cut and what not.

Like these! http://www.crazyleafdesign.com/blog/35-cool-and-inspirational-business-card-designs/

Unfortunately ideas like these cost money to print (let alone design) and most of my 'small business' clients would baulk at the overall cost of design and print f... lol ... darn it - creativity costs.
