How To Launch In Style

A couple of weeks ago, as designer of all the logos and marketing collateral, I was invited to the launch of a newly built Sure Start Children’s Centre on the grounds of Holland House Junior school.
The school itself already had a logo design, this needed re-drawing in ‘vector‘ format and then three alternative versions of the logo created to fit in with different sections of the school. In each version, the central characters differ.
Vector graphics allow you to print your logo onto practically anything at any size without loss of image quality. Read more about vector graphics >>
As I’m talking specifically about the Children’s Centre launch below you can view the updated vector logo for the Children’s Centre itself. The adaptation involved changing the central characters within the design to match ‘community/family’ theme.

We then went on to use the design and the other matching logo designs in letterheads, leaflets and folders which I won’t bore you with images of in this blog. It was pleased to see upon attending the event that the logo had been literally printed onto everything in site.
Indeed I feared that if I stood still too long I may myself end up imprinted with their logo
Anyway, these photos show how to launch in style as a new business/organisation and stamp your brand over literally everything. The Sure Start Children’s Centre will also be having banner stands designed so that they may promote themselves in the local shopping centre.
Branded pencils, stickers and pens for children visiting the centre:

Outline version of the logo as a ‘colouring sheet’:

And a ‘bag for life’ to put it in!

Branded cakes at the buffet table!

Good lord, it’s the Mayor with branded balloons behind his head!

The balloons close up … they should be able to hand these out when marketing themselves at the local shopping centre along with pencils, stickers, colouring sheet, and of course all placed into branded ‘bag for life’ shown above.
