First of all, let me just say that I cannot believe I haven’t blogged for two months, where did all that time go! :O
Especially after promising myself I was going to start blogging more every month. That enthusiastic blast of 12 blogs in June must have wiped me out … or maybe there have been too many beer gardens since June? Either way – Shame On Me.
One of the projects I’ve been working on while neglecting the blog is a front end web design for Essentials4Men skincare brand. Essentials4Men came to me in 2010, needing a brand identity for their grooming, fashion and accessories start up.
After exploring concepts, Essentials decided upon the below design as their company brand mark and since then have registered the icon and name as an official trademark.
When they came back to me this year to design their website in readiness for impending product launch, I was really pleased because can honestly say that this is one of my favourite company identities of recent years and so was excited to be working with it again and bringing it to life in shop form as intended.
Below is the result of the front end web design project, which Essentials are delighted with. High quality eCommerce website builds often take months to complete, but I will let you know when it goes live! (Provided it comes out looking like this design still .. i.e. artistic integrity is not destroyed, otherwise I’ll hide it like a dirty dirty secret).
