In 11 Weeks Cariad Was Born
Well, here’s another design for Cariad Hypnotherapy. Over the last 11 weeks since project work commenced we have completed their logo design, stationery, corporate greeting cards, and now we have reached completion of the website design also.
I’m very pleased with it. I especially happy with the curved header area.
Whilst starting on the design I simply could not face creating another straight design with ‘curved edges’, felt positively sickened by the thought of completely straight edges and corners (I don’t know why, it’s a me thing) and so came up with this instead.
Web design can be such a challenge, at the end of the day everything has to be in boxes to fit in with the practical shape of a website (can’t get around the fact that everyones screen is square) and you have to keep thinking of new and interesting ways of making it look less like a boring old box with each design.

Hi Amanda, some good work here, particularly like the colour palette of the brown and blue, calming but contemporary. Keep it up! Cheers Gareth.
