I’ve started work on brand and logo designs for Advanced Kitchen design, starting with the logo design which we have just about completed on and shown below.

After the logo design we will move onto to stationery and front end web design, which I’m looking forward to, as I get to use this below!

This illustrated character, not drawn by myself I hasten to add, will be used around the site and be known as Majjie – she’s a mascot version of the business owner to act as a personable guide in one’s quest for a delightful kitchen.

Majjie has been drawn by highly talented caricature artist Tony Parsons of Twisted Portraits, and his website is well worth a visit.

Discarded Logo Design
Below is a design concept not chosen for this brand, which is based on the the concept that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and also rather usefully hints at the ‘design’ and planning nature of the kitchen design service by showing a property plan.

I do prefer the more simplistic and modern ‘kitchen cabinet’ logo design chosen by Advanced Kitchen design however and it will typically feature alongside the secondary brand colour of duck egg blue I’ve shown at the top of the page, to lend some freshness to the logo design.
