My 1st Good Deed Of The Year

I completed my first good deed of the year today - the logo identity design and website front end design for Save The Zulu, which is a new venture by highly respected philanthropist Kevin Allen.
Kevin is the founder of the charity The Banana Appeal (fascinating story behind the appeal by the way).

I was really pleased to hear from The Banana Appeal that they are delighted with the design, and as with Ka Tutandike Trust design I created, I hope it helps them to achieve their aims, which for 2009 include:
Feed the Children
Help us feed One Million school meals of fresh fruit to hungry Zulu children this year!
Protect the Orphans
We aim to build three new child villages this year and protect the most vulnerable children.
Save the Parents
The best way to help the children is to save their parents, the solution is simple and costs only 4p a day.
Empower the Community
To save the Zulu we need to empower the entire community. From training and education projects, to mass building schemes and mirco-loans for small business starts ups.
If you also want to help the Banana Appeal, please do consider visiting their website and offering a donation, any amount will be appreciated - it takes just 4p to feed a child for a day.

Nice work Amanda, really like the colours you’ve gone for on the identity, I’m sure it will prove to be a great help for them in achieving their aims for ‘09!
Happy New Year by the way
