This illustrated ‘Support The Troops’ (US) motif is to be printed on to t-shirts and other garments for Dallas based fashion brand Katydid Collection and should hopefully be stocked in their range soon.

The design, as per the brief, represents all areas of US military; army, navy, and air force. The main colour is representative of the US army (bright yellow), generalised themes such as stars, flags/hearts (flaming tattoo style) are dotted around, along with words such as courage and honor.

Note the stars at the top with very little else, and more condensed illustrations at the bottom? I was inspired by the thought of a Hermes scarf … especially when you bear in mind the nautical anchor and ropes in there
