I did another concept after that one for Best4Sunglasses and they went for the second concept instead, I prefer the second concept myself also. I always find it useful to go to Google images and put in something like "Blackbird Logo" - this serves to provide you with inspiration about possibilities on shapes and concepts .....but even more importantly shows you what specific concepts you should be avoiding so that you have less chance of unwittingly duplicating another businesses's identity.
