Is it too much to ask to find a stock photo of a man sitting at a desk looking kinda normal for my web design project? Apparently it is.
As I wade through literally hundreds of photos, I ask myself why it is that most photographer and model duos seems to have decided that the model must express something, some sort of inner working anguish or joy perhaps? He’s sitting at a desk working, it’s not Hamlet. Just have him sitting at a desk working looking like a normal dude. Sheesh.
Case and point …
I’m doing a deal. Buy, sell, buy … no sell, no buy.
Oh no, the deal has gone wrong! I’m in shock. So much shock.
YESSSSS! I made the sale!
“Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune …”
“Actually … come to think of it … to sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there’s the rub”
Garrrrghhh! It’s him again, looking like a 1960s marionette.
This is like, totes comfortable, I could work like this for hours.
Yes, Commissioner Gordon?
“Convey stress” … “No, put more emotion into it”
This really says ‘frustration’ to me. I should totally use it next time I need to depict frustrated customers.
There are zombies in the stationery cupboard. I REPEAT – ZOMBIES.
