Matryoshka Dolls in Commercial Art
Maybe it’s because of the influx of Eastern Europeans to the UK of recent years, or maybe for no particular reason at all, but Matryoshka dolls have become very popular for use in commercial art of recent years.
I was browsing through The Dieline blog earlier and spotted this cute idea for vintage styled Russian Dolls …
So I decided to draw something similar myself (below) 
This has been drawn by hand in pencil, outlined again with an ink pen, scanned and then converted into a vector object in Adobe Illustrator, where it was coloured in.
