lol, I know we are totally off topic! :)

A few weeks ago stopped in a lovely detached villa about an hours drive from Malaga and near Estepona, it's a bit big for two people really but the view and location is amazing....the garden has a gate and right in front is the steps down to the beach.

Bit of a pebbly beach mind you, but I can tell you where the next best beach is and it has the best beach restaurant on it also. If you are thinking of booking let me know and I'll email photos of the gorgeous beach bar we found nearby.

I'm pretty obsessed about being right in front the sea and so even though this villa was big for us even with it having three bedrooms, I booked it anyway.

I think it's in it's first season though because their outdoor seating is rubbish! I had to keep dragging dining room chairs out into the garden and the reclining seats definitely needed a scrub. But if you like a good property location, this place is the best and as the advert states inside the villa is 'very' smart and well decorated.

The local area was lovely too, lots of lovely restaurants/beach bars steps from the sea front and the beaches were pretty deserted.

If that one is too big simply use www.holidaylettings.co.uk or www.holiday-rentals.co.uk - those two websites are the best for finding well priced gorgeous accommodation abroad. I never use any other sites really.

Haha. I'll take your word for it, Amanda.

Sorry to have this off-topic conversation in your blog comments. If you have any hotel / apartment recommendations for Malaga, I'd love to know. I'm wanting to plan a little surprise break for my girlfriend. Feel free to email me anytime if you'd prefer to keep your comment conversations relevant (I get sidetracked sometimes, as you can tell).

Well a few weeks ago we flew to Malaga as a family of four and got four flights for around £450!

It was even cheaper from London, but we like to fly from Birmingham, I can't be bothered to drive all the way down to London.

Malaga is always the cheapest flight destination for off season sunshine than anywhere else in the world from the UK. Believe me, with four flights to buy all the time, I check, lol.

I'm happy here in the UK too. There are many, many less well-off places to live, and I count myself fortunate to have been born here. It's been a while since I was in Spain. Perhaps I should have a look at flights to Malaga myself. Am off to Netherlands in June, which will be a first. Looking forward to it!

Well despite all it's flaws I do actually enjoy living in the UK and so I doubt I would ever actually relocate to Spain, our little finca would be a holiday house instead, a second home.

I'm going again very soon thankfully...I need some sunshine. I won't be as far up as Valencia though...I always go to Malaga airport (for the cheap flights!) and drive from there to somewhere nice, but Valencia is a bit too far a drive for me really.

So Andulucia is where we would buy a property, so its a reasonable drive from Malaga airport.

As long as there's a spare bedroom for holiday visitors, that's fine by me.

I used to teach English in Spain. Not for very long mind, just a few months before I realised my future was in a different industry. That said, I'd love to move the business to Spain. There's a great little town just outside Valencia, called Benicassim, where there's an annual 4-day music festival, great beaches, great food.

Yeah I know....it must work more on 'light' rather than sunshine that's for sure, lol.

One day I'm going to buy a little Finca in Spain and make you all jealous when I start blogging from the sun ;) ha ha.....

I'd never have thought of a company offering solar powered we hosting. Very novel. In the case of UK hosting, I'd like to think the supplier was based somewhere sunnier. ;)
