New Trends In Web Design - Deconstructed
I’m noticing a new trend in web design, what I call the ‘deconstructed’ look.
I don’t know who did it first, but it looks great and I initially tried to write a list here defining what typifies this sort of design but found it impossible to describe and so thought I’d show you some samples instead;

You may want to check out the paper and photo craft scrapbooking. This is what this new type of design seems to be based on. There are many scrapbooking resources on the internet, I can also send you some if you like.

You are right actually Rossi yes, it is a ’scrapbook’ feel to this style, well spotted! Thank you for your excellent contribution
I think with this style they tend to one of two ways;
1. The scrapbook of items assembled on the page.
2. ‘Real world’….where real items (photographic format) such as in the Skinny Cow website, are attributed link destinations within the website.
Another fantastic example of this modern style I’ve just remembered is the outstanding artist Rion Vernon of Pin Up Toons; http://www.pinuptoons.com/
Not only will you enjoy his incredible art, his website is pretty fun also! In fact I must beg and plead with him to use his images in my art section for an Artist Focus.
